Math Club

Cascade Ridge Math Club is a weekly before school program for 4th and 5th graders who are passionate about math & looking to participate in Math competition. Any Cascade Ridge 4th and 5th graders who are interested in taking their math skills to the next level are invited to join the Cascade Ridge Math Club. The Math Club will meet weekly once per week before school. Math Club students will be exposed to advanced math concepts such as prealgebra, geometry, probability, and statistics. Students will be given weekly homework assignments consisting of a few challenging problems that would require out-of-the-box thinking. Math Club meeting time will be spent reviewing the solutions to the homework problems, discussing new concepts, playing math games & getting ready for the competitions. In spring, kids can choose to participate in one or more statewide math competitions and get a chance to show off their abilities against students from other elementary schools around the state. This year kids will participate in Math is Cool, Math Olympiad (WSMC), Blaine Math Olympiad and Knights of
Pi math Tournament.

Math Club is a PTSA sponsored program and students will be coached by dedicated PTSA  parent volunteers. Interested to volunteer, you can sign-up here.
